Tapped the file and got "App not installed"? That message hides several different problems, and most of them take two minutes to sort. The AW9 APK is a small 27.9 MB file, so storage is rarely the real issue. Work down this list from the top and you will likely be in before the end.

Allow the Install
AW9 is not on the Play Store, so Android treats the file as coming from an unknown source. Allow it for the app you downloaded with, usually your browser or file manager. Go to Settings, then Apps, then Special app access, then Install unknown apps, and turn it on for that app. Menu names differ between phone brands, so search "unknown" in Settings if you cannot find it. You can turn this off again after installing.
Check the Download Finished
A half-downloaded file will not open. Look at the size in your Downloads folder. The file is AW9.apk and it should show 27.9 MB (29,216,839 bytes). If it is smaller, delete it and download again from the AW9 home page on steady internet. If it is much bigger, or it has some other name and version, it is not the current official file.
Check Your Android Version
The AW9 app needs Android 7.0 or newer. Go to Settings, then About phone. On Android 6 or older the install will fail however many times you try, so use the web version in your browser instead.
Remove an Old Copy
An old or unofficial AW9 build on the phone can block the new one, since Android refuses to install over a file signed differently. Uninstall every AW9 app you can find, restart the phone, then install fresh. Your account stays on your mobile number, so you can log back in with it after.
Free a Little Space
Android needs room to unpack the file, so it needs more than the 27.9 MB itself. Clear some videos or old apps, and restart.
Play Protect Warning
Android can show a warning for apps from outside the Play Store. Do not rush past it, and do not ignore it either. First compare your file with the details on the Is AW9 Safe page: name, size, version and package com.ar6029.fb.app. If everything matches, the choice to continue is yours. If anything differs, delete the file.
Still Failing?
- Try downloading in a different browser.
- Switch from Wi-Fi to mobile data, or the other way.
- Restart the phone once more before opening the file.
- Open the file from your file manager, not the browser's list.
- Use the web version for now, and ask the in-app support chat from there.
Please Do Not Do This
- Do not install an "AW9 mod" or an unlocked version. They are not the real app.
- Do not take an APK from a Telegram stranger because the link is faster.
- Do not grant contacts, SMS or camera access to anything calling itself AW9. The official file does not ask for them.
Installed. Now What?
New players can go to the AW9 register page to set up an account, link a bank account, and get ready for gift codes. Existing players can go straight to AW9 login. Later updates arrive from inside the app.
